The drawings in the exhibition are based on digital montages and emerged from a painful observation of the way the city penetrates open spaces and erases them, alongside the encounter between blinding artificial light and darkness.

The images draw on nocturnal wanderings in the Jerusalem forest, in the area of Revida Stream and Mount Herzl. Distortions in perspective and architecture, and the drawings’ contrasting qualities, respond to the processes of change occurring in the local landscape, expressing an experience shaped by space and time, while imagining a speculative future for the area.
