EVERY SPACE IS EMPTY OF ME

Solo Exhibition

Hacubia Gallery,

The drawings in the exhibition are based on digital montages. The montages consist of photographs collected during nocturnal wanderings in the Jerusalem forest and on the edges of the city.

Daily stay in these areas allows for the discovery of the processes of change created by man in the local landscape, including the loss of darkness, the construction and destruction of the region, and the blurring of the boundaries between the natural and the artificial. The distortions in perspective, architecture, and landscape, along with the contrasting nature of the drawings, were created in response to all of this and from thoughts about an imagined future for the area.
